Appointing Rubio—who has already been sanctioned *twice* by China—as Secretary of State seems…well…'a courageous decision' as Sir Humphrey would put it.
What will the UK, Australian, Canadian and NZ intelligence agencies do now? Will they trust their US colleagues that they know and have worked with, and work informally?
Us children of the Cold War are the fortunate ones. We grew up in a world of imminent nuclear annihilation. We can at least be sanguine about reversion to the mean.
How will Trump set about bypassing the Senate for these appointments? Simply install them as Acting per last time (assuming it'll be another exploding clown's car of a cabinet again that'll need regular restocking with nutters) or do they have another means of ignoring the Constitution?
These people are all just incompetent sycophants. Prepare for the worst and buckle up. Stay vigilant.

Nothing to worry about there, eh?
Dear lord - the handcart is rattling towards Hell at a fair rate.

You’ve asked the key question. I wonder if it’s partly a test of loyalty for his Senate. But he may just go for acting or recess appointments.
